Water Register online services have been unavailable since Saturday 19 August as a result of a very significant system failure at the Water Register's external hosting provider. This included the Water Register website, Broker Portal, online trading and online bore construction licensing services.

All customer information, including entitlement records and allocation balances, is secure and no data was lost during the outage.

Water Corporations have access to the Water Register and are processing and approving water dealings manually as normal. Customers can lodge water trade and licensing applications with their water corporation. If you have any questions about how to submit your applications please contact your water corporation.

The Water Register website was made available on Friday 25 August with limited functionality.

For the time being the following services on the website are still unavailable:

  • MyWater (online trading and bore construct licences)
  • Creation of Copies of Record for entitlements
  • Some reports will not be available

We are working to restore access to all online services as soon as possible. Updates will continue to be provided through the Water Register news section.
