We want to get a better understanding of who accesses the information currently available in the Weekly Water Report and how it’s being used. The Weekly Water Report is produced by the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning. It provides the reader with a weekly snapshot of water resources status across Victoria. The Weekly Water Report covers rainfall and climate conditions as they pertain to water resource availability; storage levels; irrigation allocations; groundwater allocations; seasonal outlooks and risk of spill declarations; a summary of water trading for the week; and a list of towns on water restrictions. The information for this report is sourced from water corporations and the Bureau of Meteorology, links to relevant source information are located within the report.
