Water share applications (including applications to transfer, divide and transfer, vary, divide, and to consolidate water shares) must be made using an approved form. For the water corporation to accept the application forms that can be downloaded below, they must be clearly printed on white A4 paper, in portrait format, and in black ink.
Each application form must have its own unique application number. Therefore, you cannot download the form and photocopy it for multiple applications. Instructions for completing and submitting the forms are included as explanatory notes on the form.

You can pay for any applications relating to a water share, water-use licence/registration or works licence with your credit/debit card by completing the Credit card payment form and submitting it with your application(s).
If the water corporation approves your application to transfer your water share you will then need to apply to the Water Registrar to record the transfer.
Applications to trade allocation must be in the approved form and lodged with the water corporation.
Entitlement holders can now apply to relinquish allocation if they do not wish to carry over their unused water at the end of the season.Download PDF How to relinquish allocation (PDF - 193 KB)
