Notes and disclaimers

  • This table shows all water allocation trade applications which were finalised (as approved or refused by the water authority) within the selected financial year. Applications which were created in the selected financial year but which were yet to be finalised at the end of the financial year are shown at as at their last change of status of processing (with water authority or with applicant). After the end of the financial year, when the status of these applications changes again they will be moved from this year's status report to next year's.
  • In a pool exchange, a number of sellers (say 20) sell to a number of buyers (say 15) at the pool price. Administratively, this is implemented in the water register as 20 trades to a clearing account and then 15 trades from that clearing account. To avoid double counting, only the seller side is counted (ie this is counted as 20 trades).
  • The clearing accounts are held by G-MW, therefore all G-MW trades to and from the Pool are classified as within authority trades. No adjustment has been made for this.
